50 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 18,
On motion of Mr. Gaver,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate
the Home for the Aged of Frederick city.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend Article
23, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
entitled "Corporations," sub title "Turnpike, Plank
Road and Passenger Railway Companies," by adding:
a new section thereto, to be known as "Section two-
hundred and thirty-six A."
On motion of Mr. Fitzgeralave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an additional
section to Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, title
"Baltimore City," sub-title "Condemnations," to be
known as "Section 148 A," authorizing the Mayor
and Council to condemn property for public purposes,,
and to provide methods for condemnation.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
367, of Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub title "Harbor, Docks and
Wharves," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 4, of the Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," to be
known as "Section 173 A," providing for the practice
in certain cases in the Baltimore City Court.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an additional
section to Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Board of Police Com-
missioners," to be known as "Section 722 A," pro-
viding for the appointment of one additional Police
Commissioner by the Mayor of Baltimore city, and
