Ordered, That Mr. Field be excused from attendance
to-day on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Fockler, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Smith, of Washington county,
be excused on account of sickness.
On motion of Mr. Shafer, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Garrett be excused on account of
business.
On motion of Mr, Bevard, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Hayward and Mr. Stearns
be excused from the session this evening on account
of important business.
Mr. Wooters submitted the following order, viz :
Ordered, That all orders and bills pertaining to the
oyster interest of this State be referred to the Com-
mittee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries,
that all interests may be heard.
Which was read.
Mr. Miles demanded the yeas and nays.
