Mr. Laird introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 93, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Testamentary Law," sub-title "Register of Wills,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which were severally read a first time, and referred
to the Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Bryan introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Corporations," sub-title "Insurance Depart-
ment," to be known as section 143.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Mr. Brashears introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 118, of
Article 15, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Kent County," sub title ' Fish and Terrapins," and
to repeal sections 168, 171,172,173 and 174, of Article
18, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Queen
Anne's County," sub-title "Fish and Terrapins," and
to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 18, of
Article 39, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Fish and Fisheries," sub-title "Patuxent," and to
add two new sections to said Article 39, to follow im-
mediately after section 89, and to be designated as
sections 89 A and 89 B.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
RESOLUTIONS.
Mr. Collins submitted a Joint Resolution request
ing the Senators and Representatives of this State in
the Congress of the United States, to vote for and
urge the passage of the Hatch bill now pending in
Congress, preventing the speculation in options and
futures.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Federal Relations.
