Mr. Grove, of Cecil, presented a petition from the
Rising Sun Alliance, asking for the establishment of
a State Board of Agriculture
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Agriculture.

ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Carter, it was
Ordered, That this House shall sit to-night, at 8
o'clock, P. M.
On motion of Mr. Sams, it was
Ordered, That the State Librarian furnish to each
member of the House of Delegates, for use during this
session, one copy, bound in cloth, of the State Con-
stitution, which was printed by the order of the
Senate.
On motion of Mr. Grove, of Cecil, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Beeks be excused from to-day's
session, on account of sickness,
On motion of Mr. Anderson, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Green be excused from attend-
ance during the remainder of the week, on account of
sickness.
On motion of Mr. Sappington, of Frederick, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Gaver be excused from to-day's
session, on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Cornthwaite, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Fox be excused from attendance
on to day's session, on account of important business.
Mr. Brashears submitted the following order, viz :
Ordered, That the Committee on Elections be and
it is hereby directed to incorporate all bills relating
to Article 33, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Elections," in one general bill, and that said
committee is hereby requested to report the same to
this House as soon as possible.
And it is further ordered, that all bills relating to
said Article, heretofore reported, be re committed to
said committee for that purpose.
Which was rejected.
