Mr. Berret, from the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money therein mentioned, to pay T. Lee Mattingly
and others, money due them for services rendered in
State Tobacco Wa-ehouses Nos. 1 and 2.
Also, favorably, from same committee,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claim of the Schultz Gas Fixture
and Art Metal Company of Baltimore city.
Which were severally read a first time.
Also, reported back to the House,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Live
Stock Sanitary Board to pay Richard E. Gott, of Anne
Arundel county a sum of money for a horse killed
infected with glandess.
With recommendation that said bill be referred to
the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Field, from the Committee on Militia, reported
iavorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add additional sec-
tions to Article 65, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Militia," sub-title "Maryland National
Guard."
Also, favorably, from same Committee,
House bill entitled an Act to organize and equip a
Battery of Light Artillery in Frederick county.
