Mr. Fuld submitted a Joint Resolution asking the
Members in Congress from this State, to use their
best efforts to secure the passage of a National Bank-
rupt Law,
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Federal Relations.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Schlaffer, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Treas
urer of Baltimore county to give bond with corporate
security, and to charge the cost thereof among the ex-
penses of his office.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 16, of
chapter 384. Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to regulate
the sale and granting of licenses for sale of spirituous
and fermented liquors in Baltimore county.
Which were severally read a first time.
Also reported back to the House,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 205 A,
of Article 93, of the Code of Public General Testa-
mentary Law, witk recommendation that said bill be
referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

Mr. Ireland, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 1, and to repeal section 11,
of chapter 183, of the Laws, Acts of 1890, entitled an
Act to create a Treasurer for Calvert county.
Mr. Sellman, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal from section 3
to section 16, both inclusive, Acts of 1888, chapter
295, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Hamp-
stead, Carroll County.
Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, from a Select Committee,
