On motion of Mr. Grove, Frederick,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
sections 396, 397, 398, 399, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404,
405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 411, 412, 413 of Article
2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Fred-
erick County," sub-title "Point of Rocks," relating
to the town of Point of Rocks, and to re-enact the
same with amendments by substituting in lieu thereof,
the following: Sections 396, 897, 398, 399, 400, 401,
402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410. 411, 412,
413, 413 A, 413 B, 413 C, 413 D, 413 E, 413 F.
On motion of Mr. Brennan,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tions 388 to 397, inclusive, of Article 4, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, titled "City of Baltimore,"
sub-titled "Commissioners of Pharmacy andPractical
Chemistry," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
Mr, Saras moved that the report of the Agricultural
College, referred to Committee on Education, February
5th, be referred to the Committee on Agriculture.
Which, motion prevailed, and report so referred.
Mr. Collins introduced House bill entitled an Act to
provide for the taxation of mortgages and debts secured
by mortgage on property within this State for State,
county and municipal purposes
Which was read a first time, and referred to Com-
mittee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Laird introduced House bill entitled an Act to
repeal section 296, of Article 23, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title "Pro-
cess," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
