the Constitution, I have the honor herewith to sub-
mit to the Honorable Body over which you preside,
true copies of all accounts rendered and settled with
the Comptroller of the Treasury, from the 80th of
September, 1889, to the 1st of October, 1891.

Which were severally read, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means

Mr. McSherry presented a petition from Wm. H.
Plummer, E, A. Skinner and 230 other citizens of
Mt. Pleasant District, asking for the passage of a
local option law for said district in Frederick county.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Temperance.
Mr. Gallagher presented a petition from Joseph J.
Willis and 50 other citizens and taxpayers of Waverly
and Baltimore city, Md., asking for such relief for
the sureties upon the bond of Stevenson Archer as
may be just and equitable.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.
Mr. Sams presented a petitition from Graham Moale,
Howard Ridgely and 1,000 other citizens of Baltimore
city, asking for relief from the indifferent service and
inequitable rates of the Chesapeake and Potomac
Telephone Company.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Corporations.
Mr. Grove, of Cecil, presented a petition from Cecil
Grange No. 3, of100 members, asking for the passage
of an Act to purchase the interest of the private stock-
