Mr. Young, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act
of the Acts of 1890, chapter 130, entitled an Act to
provide for the purchase or construction of water
works for the town of Frostburg, Allegany county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Schlaffer, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to limit the session of
the Grand Jury in Baltimore county.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Brashears, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 185
and 186, of Article 2, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title
"Orphans' Court," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to regulate the price of
illuminating gas in Annapolis city.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Fuld, from a Special Committee, submitted the

REPORT:
The Joint Committee appointed by the Senate and
House of Delegates to notify Hon. Spencer C. Jones
of his election as Treasurer, respectfully report that
they have communicated with Mr. Jones and have
received from him the following reply :

the General Assembly of Maryland :
The Joint Committee of the Senate and House of
Delegates of Maryland having formally notified
me of my appointment by the General Assembly,
as State Treasurer for the period of two years, I take
