& Bro., and 250 other citizens of Baltimore city, in
favor of the passage of an Act establishing an equitable
telephone rate.

On motion of Mr. Gaver, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Sappington, of Frederick, be
excused from to-night's session,, on account of im-
portant business.
On motion of Mr. Cornthwaite, it was
