Also,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
one hundred and fifteen, of Article two, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County,"
sub title "County Commissioners," and to re-enact
the same with amendments, and to add a new section
to said Article to follow section one hundred and
twenty-three, to be designated as section 123 A."
On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to declare the
sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the gift of two parcels of ground situate
in Baltimore city, made by Margaret C. Boyd to the
Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church
in the United States of America, by a deed from said
Margaret C. Boyd to said board, bearing date the 4th
day of December, 1872, and recorded among the Land
Records of Baltimore city, in Liber G. R., No. 642,
folio 242, etc., in which deed the said Margaret C.
Boyd received a life estate unto herself, she having
now departed this life.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to declare the
sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the bequests of one thousand dollars to
the "Presbyterian Association of Baltimore," and of
two hundred dollars to the "Board of Home Missions
of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of
America," contained in the last will and testament of
Francis Davidson, late of Baltimore city, deceased.
On motion of Mr. Thompson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to appro-
priate a sum of money to support the Maryland Line
Confederate Soldiers' Home at Pikesville.
