Assembly of Maryland, passed at its January Session,
1882, entitled an Act to. incorporate the National
Trust and Guarantee Company.
On motion Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power George T. Melvin to construct a bridge over
Weems Creek, in Anne Arundel county.
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections
to introduce a bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections
274 to 297 inclusive to Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Pri-
mary Elections," and enact in lieu thereof the follow-
ing sections to become sections, 274 to 295 of said
Article under the sub-title "Primary Elections."
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act giving the sanction
of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1o the de-
visers and bequests contained in the last will and tes-
tament of Anna M. Small, late of Baltimore city, de-
ceased, of certain portions of'the residue of his property
to the Domestic and Foreign Missionaay Society of
the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United
States of America, to the Vestry of Emanuel Church
in Baltimore city, to the Trustees' of the Protestant
Episcopal Educational Society, in Virginia, and to
the Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church
in the Diocese of Maryland.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to declare the sanc-
tion of the General Assembly of Maryland, to a devise
contained in the last will and testament of Harriett
A. Hayden, deceased.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
122 of Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, title "City
of Baltimore," sub-title "Buildings" and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
