REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Fitzgerald, from the Committee on Elections,
reported favorably
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 274 to-
297, both inclusive, of Article 4, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub title
"Primary Elections."
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Carter, from Committee on Judiciary, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to grant the sanction and
consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to cer-
tain bequests and devises contained in the last will
and testament of T. S. Beall, late of Anne Aiundel
county, deceased.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Stearns, from the Committee on Claims, re
ported favorably the following order referred hereto-
fore to said Committee, viz :
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be, and
they are hereby directed to pay to Wm. Collins,
Chairman on the. part of the House Commitee to
notify Senator Gibson of his election as Senator, the
sum of eighteen dollars and twenty-five cents, the
amount incurred in the discharge of their duty.
Which report was adopted.
