The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
Senate bill entitled an Act to add two additional
sections to Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments,"
sub-title "False Pretenses," designated as section 84
A and section 84 B. relating to frauds and false pre-
tense against hotel keepers.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judiciary.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to grant additional cor-
porate powers to the Cumberland Loan and Savings
Association.
Which was read a first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
