ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Sterling, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Green be excused from Tues-
day's session, on account of important business.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Washington co., it was
Ordered, That Mr. Shafer be excused from to-day's
session, on account of sickness.
On motion of Mr. Bryan, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Bryan be excused from non-
attendance on Monday night and Tuesday's session,
on account of sickness.
On motion of Mr. Grove, of Cecil, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Kirk be excused from to-day's
session, on account of sickness.
Mr, Collins submitted the following order, viz:
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be, and
they are hereby directed to pay to Wm. Collins,
Chairman on the part of the House Committee to
notify Senator Gibson of his election as Senator, the
sum of eighteen dollars and twenty-five cents, the
amount incurred in the discharge of their duty.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Claims.
Mr. Berret submitted the following order, viz :
Ordered, That the State Printer be and he is hereby
directed to print 500 copies of the assessment bill at a
cost of two dollars and fifty cents per printed page,
as per section 1, Article 78, of the Code of Public
General Laws.
Which was read and passed by yeas and nays, as
