House bill (Printed No. 3) entitled an Act to amend
Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Corporations," by adding thereto an additional sec
tion to follow section 20, class 7, and to be designated
as section 20 A, class 7 A.
Mr. O'Conor moved to strike out the enacting clause
of the bill.
Mr. Carter demanded the yeas and nays.
The demand was sustained.
The yeas and nays were called and appeared as
follows:

So the motion to strike out was rejected.
Mr. Miles submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section 20 A, line 7, after (he word "wholesale,"
strike out the words "or retail."
Mr. Ellegood demanded the yeas and nays, the de-
mand was sustained.
