On motion of Mr. Gaver,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amerd sec-
tion 258, of Article 11, of the Code cf Public Local
Laws of Maryland, relating to the lien of livery stable
keepers in Frederick city, and also to add an addi-
tional section to said Article to provide for the pun-
ishment of persons hiring horses or vehicles from liv-
ery stable keepers in Frederick city to go a certain
distance and using said horses or vehicles for a greater
distance.
On motion of Mr. O'Conor,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend
Article 56, o± the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Licenses," by adding an additional section thereto,
to be known as "Section 20 A," requiring the agents,
of sellers of oysters in Baltimore city known as "Oys-
ter Commission Merchants," to pay a license to con-
duct said business for each person engaged therein.
On motion of Mr. Schlaffer,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to regulate fish-
ing with kook and line in the waters of Back River.
Seneca Creek and Middle River, in Baltimore county.
On motion of Mr. Thompson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add new
sections to Article 23, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title "Telegraph
Companies," to come in after section 232, and to be
designated "Sections 232 A, 232 B, 232 C, 232 D, and
232 E," to regulate the rental and use of telephones
in the cities, towns and villages in the State of Mary-
land. Section 1, be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, that the following new sections be
added to Article 23, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title "Telegraph
Companies," to come in after section 233, and to be-
designated as ' Sections 232 A, 232 B, 232 C, 232 D
and 232 E."
