regulate such sales.

House bill entitled an Act granting the sanction
and consent of the State of Maryland to the acquisi-
tion of certain lands within the said State by the
United States, or by States or Historical Societies, for
the purpose of erecting monuments and of properly
marking the positions of different commands engaged
in the battles of Antetiem and of the Monocacy, and
for the preserving said battle fields for historical pur-
poses
House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Board of Public Works to sell the Eastern Hay
Scales property in the city of Baltimore and to pur-
chase a more eligible site in said city for the same
