Mr. Carter submitted the following order, viz :
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be and they-
are hereby authorized to pay A. MoInnis $5 00 for
making new casting and screw for Speaker's chair:
also, to John Johnson, $9.05, for plumbing and clear
ing water closets ; also, pay Mrs. Wm. E. Smith fifty
cents per day, for ninety days, for washing and ironing
towels for House of Delegates, Committee Rooms and
Folding Rooms.
