1390 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Apl. 1,
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Gover-
nor to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace for
Princess Anne district, of Somerset county.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Somerset County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 214 and 214 A, of Article
2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne
Arundel County," sub-title "Sheriff," and to add a
new section to said Article, to follow section 214 A, to
be designated as section 214 B.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Anne Arundel County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Maryland Title Insurance and Trust Company,
incorporated by an Act to the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed January Session, 1884, chapter 425.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an .Act to prohibit the payment
of employees of certain corporations operating in Gar-
rett county, otherwise in than legal tender money of
the United States.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Garrett County Delegation and Mr. Strong.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the session of
1890, chapter 305, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore, South Baltimore and Curtis Bay Railroad
Company, so that the corporate title of said corpora-
tion shall hereafter be the Baltimore and Curtis Bay
Railway Company.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
