Mr. Wilkinson, from the Committee on Amend-
nents to the Constitution, reported unfavorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 15, of
the Declaration of Rights of the State of Maryland.
Which was adopted.
Also, unfavoiably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 119 C,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Corpor-
ations," sub-title "InsuranceCompanies,"' as amended
by the Arts of 1890, chapter 254.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Carter, from the Committee on the Judicary,
reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional sec-
tions to Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws entitled "Crimes and Punishments," to be
entitled an Act providing for the safety of persons
traveling on railroads, requiring' railroads to operate
telegraph or telephone service along their lines, to be
designated sections 485, 486 and 487.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 139 to 141, inclusive, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Health, Hours
of Labor of Children."

Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Gov-
ernor to sign, execute and acknowledge a deed con-
veying to the Canton Company of Baltimore any
interest of the State in a lot in Canton, in the City of
Baltimore, granted to the State for a hay scales on
conditions.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing and direct-
ing the Attorney-General to furnish certain infor-
mation in regard to the property purchased by the
province of Maryland in 1755, and known as "Fort
Frederick."
