money to pay the claims of C. C. Savage, A. S. Abell
& Co., Chas. C. Fulton & Co., C. Isaac Freidenwald,
the Herald Publishing Company, the Daily News As-
sociation, F. Raine, Herbert F. Moore and Otto Sutro,
for work and labor done, material furnished and ser-
vices rendered to the Leonard Calvert Monument Com-
mittee.

Senate bill entitled an Act to pay John Murphy &
Company a sum of money for supplies furnished by
them to State Tobacco Warehouse No. 2.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power Mary E. Metz, of Baltimore county, to bring
suit against the State of Maryland for damages sus-
tained by loss of business by reason of the erection of
the Maryland Hospital for the Insane, on property ad-
jacent to hers.

Mr. Field, from the Committee on Militia, reported
favorably, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re enact
with amendments sections 26 and 27, of Article 65, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Militia," sub-
title "Maryland National Guard."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In lines 21 and 22, strike out the words, "that the
integrity of said regiment and the Second Batallion
shall not in any way be impaired and destroyed and."
