Mr. Berret submitted the following message :
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
March 30th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
We respectfully request your Honorable Body to
appoint another Joint Committee of Conference on
House bill, known as the general assessment bill.
This request is made because the Joint Conference
Committee heretofore appointed was unable to agree,
and we herewith return said bill.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
March 30th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :
We have received your message proposing the ap-
pointment of a Conference Committee to consider the
disagreeing votes of the Senate and House of Dele-
gates on the Se'nate amendment to House bill entitled
an Act for the assessment and valuation of the prop-
erty of this State, and we concur therein.
We have appointed on the part of the Senate,
Messrs. Hayes, Smith, Brown, Waters and Wootton.
We would respectfully request the appointment of
your committee, so that the conference can be held at
10 A. M., to morrow.
