On motion of Mr. Laird, it was
Ordered, That the use of the Hall of the House of
Delegates be granted to the Committee of the Sons of
the American Revolution on Thursday evening next,
February 4th, at 7.30 P. M.
On motion of Mr. Hill, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Perrie be excused for absence
from to-day's session.
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Gallagher be excused from to-
day's session on account of important business, and
that Mr. Brennan be excused to-day on account of
sickness.
On motion of Mr. Hayman, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Franklin be excused from attend-
ance at to-day's session, on account of sickness.
Mr. Field, submitted the following order, viz :
Ordered, That the officers of the House of Dele-
gates, not heretofore provided for, shall be allowed
ten ($10) dollars worth of stamps and fifteen dollars
worth of stationery.
Which was considered, and,
On motion of Mr. Laird,
Laid over and made the special order of the day
for Wednesday next, at 1 o'clock.
LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Monmonier,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act providing
for the construction of a house drainage and sewerage
system, a hospital ward, a refrigerator, the installa-
tion of an electric light plant, and for making other
necessary improvements at the Maryland Hospital for
the Insane,
On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend Article
23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Corpo-
rations," sub-title "Religious Corporations," by add-
