AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Insert after the word "designate," at the end of sec-
tion 2 of the bill, the following :
"Provided that the amount paid the paper that
makes a specialty of law matters as herein provided
for, it shall not be more three hundred dollars, the
same to be paid out of the amount appropriated for
the payment of the publication of said laws for Balti-
more city.
Change section 8 in the bill to section 2.
Also, amend by striking out after the word "fol-
lows," at the end of the enacting clause, the words
"section 2" and inserting in lieu thereof the figure " 1"
And inserting after the word "public," and before
the word "law," thereafter, the word "General," so
that it will read "every Public General Law."
Which were severally read and concurred in.

Mary E. Metz, of Baltimore county, to bring suit

Committee on Ways and Means.
