Mr. Fitzgerald submitted the following message :
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
March 29th, 1892.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
We have received your messrge of the 23d Inst, in
reference to House bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 367, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title ''Harbor,
Docks and Wharves," and to re-enact the same with
amendments, in which your Honorable Body an-
nounces that you have declined to recede from its
amendments, and also your request for the appoint-
ment of a Conference Committee, &c.
We respectfully concur therein, and have appointed
on the part of the House, Messrs. Fitzgerald, Brennan
and Sams.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS.
The House considered Unfinished Business, being the
consideration of the following proposed amendment
to the amendment to bill (printed No. 240), known as
the Telephone Bill, submitted by Mr. O'Conor, March
25th.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED TO AMENDMENT.
After the word "exceeding," in line 6, insert "$5.00
per month," in lieu of $6.50.
By unanimous consent of the House, withdrew the
proposed amendment to the amendment.
The question then recurred on the following pro-
posed amendment as submitted bv Mr. Sams, March
25th:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In section A strike out all after the word "com-
munication," in line 7, (printed bill), to and including
the word "month," in line 12, and insert in place
thereof the following;: "In such city or town any
sum exceeding $6.50 per month where one telephone
