On motion of Mr. Carter,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments new section 13 . of Article 33,
of the Cod of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Elections," as re-enacted by the Act of 1890, chapter
538.
On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introdnce a bill entitled an Act to add an additional
section to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," to be
known as "Section 173 A."
On motion of Mr. Collins,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to provide for
the separate codification of the statute and common
law showing the jurisdiction of Justices of the Peace,
and the offences cognizable by said Justices with the
respective penalties thereto attached.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to add an additional section to Article 21, of the
Code of Public General Laws of this State, title "Tal-
bot County," sub-title "Fish."

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
Mr. Donaldson introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to pay the claims of
Tuesday Disney, Wm. S. Disney and Wm. King, of
Anne Arundel county, for unpaid bounty due them
by reason of having been drafted into the service of
the United States as provided for by heretofore exist-
ing laws.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Carter introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 23, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporations,"
by inserting after section 167 an additional section to
