Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, of
Article 95, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Treasurer," relating to the employment and salary
of clerks in his office and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay John Johnson, James Campbell and
Thomas Evans, on account of expenses incurred and
time lost by reason of the purchase from the State of
Maryland of the schooner "Anson," bought by said
Johnson, under forfeiture tor violating the oyster laws
of the State, from John G. Crane, Sheriff of Anne
Arundel county, Maryland.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.

The following Acts of the General Assembly, origi-
nating in the House ol Delegates, were presented to
the Governor for his approval this day at 9.30 A. M. :
Chapter 189. An Act to repeal sections 202 to 215.,
both inclusive, of Article 24, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Worcester County," sub-title
"Pocomoke," and to re-enact the same witti amend-
ments.
Chapter 196. An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments new section 146, of Article 33, of the Code
Public General Laws, as enacted by the Act of 1890,
chapter 538.
Chapter 197, An Act to appropriate a sum of money
for the support of the Co-operative Workers of Balti-
more city.
Chapter 198. An Act to enable the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to appropriate money for the
relief of the Baltimore Manual Labor School for Indi-
gene Boys.
