ville, in the Eighth Election District of Baltimore
county.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2,
chapter 95, of the Acts of Assembly of Maryland of
1858, entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Club, passed February 24th, 1858, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
House bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the acquisition of
the leasehold interest in a lot of ground in the city of
Baltimore, by the Washington Street Station of the
Methodist Protestant Church of said city.
Were severally read a second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 23, of
the Code of Public General Laws t>f Maryland, title
"Corporations," by adding thereto an additional sec-
tion to follow section 20, class 7, anl to be designated
as "Section 20 A, Class 7 A," of said Article, provid-
ding for the formation of corporations for conducting
any trading, commercial or mercantile business.
Was considered, and on motion, further consider-
ation postponed, and made the order of the day for
to morrow at 1 P. M.
House bill entitled an Act to amend section 2, Arti-
cle 3, and section 13, of chapter 495, of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed January
Session 1882, entitled an Act to incorporate the
National Trust and Guarantee Company.
Was considered.
Mr. Carter submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out all after the words "a bill," and insert
the following in lieu thereof :
Entitled an Act to repeal section two, section three
and section thirteen, of Chapter four hundred and
ninety-five, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its January Session, eighteen
hundred and eighty-two, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the National Trust and Guarantee Com-
pany," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
