Committee March 22d. viz:
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be and they
are hereby directed to pay to J. H. S. Nichols the sum
of $64.15 for furnishing goods for use of the Legisla-
ture, per order of Superintendent.

NEGATIVE—None.
Mr. Stearns, from same Committee, reported favor-
ably,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claim of John M. Laudeman, &c.
Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to refund to Robert J.
Henry, of Worcester county, the sum of 870.67, taxes
paid in error into the State Treasury.
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to refund Hutchins
Crawford, of Calvert county, a sum of money paid by
him to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Calvert
county, and bv said Clerk paid into the Treasury of
