Leonard, Green, Kirk, Grove, of Cecil, Hill, Perrie,
Wallen, Godwin, McSherry, Gaver, Grove, of Freder-
ick, Bevard, Stearns, Johnson, Thompson, Brennan,
Fox, Carter, O'Conor, Gallagher, Sams, Sanders,
Frincke, Carr, Cornthwaite, Fockler, Shafer, Laird,
Barber, Hosken, Sr., Stottlemyer—48.
NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to assist in defraying the expenses incurred
in erecting a monument on the battlefield of Antietam,
in this State, to the soldiers of the Fifth Regiment,
Maryland Volunteers, who fell in that battle and to
mark the sight where the regiment fought.
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:

of Anne Arundel, Ireland, Carrico, Maddox, Orrick,

George's, Hill," Perrie, Bryan, Wallen, Godwin, Mc-
Sherry, Gaver, Grove, of Frederick, Stearns, Johnson,

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the re-
moval of the water-closet from the State House and
for the erection of the same in a building elsewhere,
and for the ventilation of the State House, the clean-
ing of the basement and the renovation of the furni-
ture of the Executive Chamber and to appropriate a
sum of money therefor.
