ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Garner, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Combs be excused from this
week's session, on account of important business.
On motion of Mr. Sams, it was
Ordered, That the State Printer print House bill,
printed No. 240. at once, so that said bill shall be in
the possession of this House by 10 P. M., to-morrow,
March 24th, 1892.
On motion of Mr. Laird, it was
Ordered, That the House, at its sitting this evening,
consider only Senate bills on third reading file.
Mr. Brashears submitted the following order, viz:
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be and they
are hereby directed to pay Jos. S. M. Basil & Pariett,
one hundred ond seventy-nine dollars and eighty-four
cents, ($179.84), for lumber, locks, nails, &c., furnished
for use of the General Assembly, and lumber hired to
extend the porch in front of State House f or inaugural
ceremonies.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Claims.
Mr. Donaldson submitted the following order, viz :
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be and they
are hereby directed to pay to J. H. S. Nichols, the
sum of sixty-four dollars and fifteen cents, for furnish-
ing goods for use of Legislature, per order of Super-
intendent.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Claims.
Mr. Bowie submitted the following order, viz:
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be and they
are hereby directed to pay to John 3. Flood, Superin-
tendent, ninety five dollars and thirty-five cents, for
bills which he has paid, and has vouchers for the
same, for use of the Legislature.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.
Mr. Garrett submitted the following order, viz:
