CHAPTER 56.


AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments sections


forty-six, forty -nine, fifty -eight, fifty -nine, sixty, sixty-one,


sixty-two, sixty-three, sixty-five, sixty-six, sixty-eight,


seventy-one, seventy-two, seventy-foul, seventy-five,


seventy-eight, eighty -three and eighty-four of article one


of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled


"Allegany County, "sub-title " Cumberland," and to add


additional sections to be known as sixty-eight A, seventy-


five A, seventy-five B, seventy -eight A, seventy -eight B,


seventy-eight C, seventy-eight D, seventy-eight E, and!


seventy -eight F.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That sections forty-six, forty-nine, fifty-seven,


fifty-eight, fifty-nine, sixty, sixty -one, sixty -two, sixty -three,


sixty-five, sixty-six, sixty-eight, seventy-one, seventy-two


seventy-four, seventy-five, seventy-eight, eighty-three and


eighty-four of article one, of the Code of Public Local Laws


of Maryland, entitled "Allegany County," sub title " City

Repealed
and

of Cumberland," be and the same are hereby repealed and

re-enacted.

re-enacted to read as follows, and that said article one, of


said Code of Public Local Laws be, and the same is hereby


further amended by adding thereto a new section to follow


after section sixty -eight to be known as sixty -eight A. Two


new sections to follow after section seventy -five to be known


as seventy-five A and seventy -five B, and certain other new


sections to follow after section seventy -eight to be known as


seventy -eight A, seventy-eight B, seventy -eight C, seventy-


eight D, seventy -eight E, and seventy-eight F.


46. The said mayor and city council shall, as soon, as


practicable, provide by ordinance for a survey and map of
