LAWS OF MARYLAND.


Anne Arundel County and the County Commissioners of


Prince George's County are hereby authorized empowered


and directed to build a substantial bridge over said river,


from some suitable point on the Anne Arundel County shore


of said river to a convenient and practicable point on the


Prince George's County shore ; and said bridge, when built,


shall be maintained and kept in proper repair by said County


Commissioners of Anne Arundel County and the County


Commissioners of Prince George's County, as a free bridge


provided that the entire cost to said two counties, of said


bridge, shall not exceed the sum named in the preceding


section of this act.


SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-

Commissioners of Prince George's County be and they are


hereby authorized and directed to levy on the assessable


property of Anne Arundel and Prince George's County, the


former on the assessable property of Anne Arundel and the


latter on the assessable property of Prince. George's County


at their regular annual levy for the year eighteen hundred


and ninety -two such a sum of money as may be necessary to


carry out and secure the provision of this act, the expense


thereof to be paid and borne one-third by Prince George's


County and two-thirds by Anne Arundel County.


SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the cost of main-

safe repair and condition for public travel, shall be paid in


equal proportions by the County Commissioners of Anne


Arundel County and the County Commissioners of Prince


George's County; and they are hereby authorized to levy


upon the assessable property of the two said counties such


sums of money as may be necessary from time to time to


defray said costs in the proportions aforesaid.

Effective.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 697.

AN ACT to add two additional sections to article II of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Anne
Arundel County," sub-title "Oysters," to be designated
as section 188 A, and 188 B.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That two additional sections be and they, are
