It shall also have power to receive in payment of any sub-

CHAPTER 692.
|

|
|
|
AN ACT to empower the Board of Public Works to sell the
|
|
|
|
|
Eastern hay scales property in the city of Baltimore and
|
|
|
|
|
to purchase a more eligible site in said city for the loca-
|
|
|
|
|
tion of the same.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|

hereby authorized and empowered to sell at public auction

the Eastern hay scale property now located on Greenmount

|

Avenue in the city of Baltimore, after first advertising the

same for at least three weeks in one or more daily newspapers

|
|
|
|
printed and published in Baltimore City to the highest
|
|
|
|
|
bidder for cash.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That after a sale of the said
|
|
|
|
|
property mentioned in the first section, of this bill, the said
|
|
|
|
New site;

said, the Eastern hay scales at some point within the limits
|
|
|
|
|
of Baltimore City north of Boundary Avenue on the York

turnpike road.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That the said Board of Pub-

expend a greater sum of money for the purchase of said
