the county commissioners ; all expenses, however, arising


out of the failure or refusal of the owner or occupant of any


lands or premises to obey the order of the " Tree and Fruit


Inspectors," and that they shall be put to in the removal


and destruction of any tree or fruit, shall be and constitute


a lien and charge on the lands and premises where said trees


and fruit were found, recoverable by the county commis-


sioners of the county for county purposes through the


agency of the tax collector as taxes are collected.


SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That if any person shall in


anywise interfere with or hinder and impede said " Tree and

CHAPTER 640.


AN ACT to empower and direct the County Commissioners


of Prince George's County to levy a sum of money for the


building of a school house for white children near Hide's


Store in the fourth election district of Prince George's


County.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-


land, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's


County be and they are hereby empowered and directed to

house.

levy on the assessable property of said county at the annual


levy of 1893 the sum of five hundred dollars for the building


of a school house for white children near Hide's Store in the


fourth election district of Prince George's County, provided,


that the cost of said school house shall not exceed the sum


of five hundred dollars ; and should it cost less, the excess


shall remain in the hands of the treasurer for other county


purposes.
