CHAPTER 609.

AN ACT to add an additional section to article eleven of

the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled

|
|
|
|
"Frederick County," sub-title " County Commissioners"
|
|
|
|
|
to be designated as section ninety -five A, relating to the
|
|
|
|
|
taxation of Saving Banks and Institutions located in
|
|
|
|
|
Frederick County.
|

|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|

Maryland, That an additioual section be and the same is

|

added.

hereby enacted and added to article eleven of the Code of

Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Frederick County"
|
|
|
|

sub-title " County Commissioners " be designated as section

|
|
ninety-five A, relating to the taxation of Saving Banks and
|
|
|
|
|
Institutions located in Frederick City, and to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 95 A. It shall be the duty of the County Commis-
|
|
|
|

sioners of Frederick County to pay over annually to the
|
|
|
|
savings
banks
|
mayor and aldermen of Frederick, one-fourth of the fran-
|
|
|
|
|
chise tax the said county commissioners shall receive under
|
|
|
|
|
the provisions of section eighty -six of article eighty-one of
|
|
|
|
|
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, from every
|
|
|
|
|
savings bank, institution or corporation organized for receiv-
|
|
|
|
|
ing deposits of money and paying interest thereon located
|
|
|
|
|
in the city of Frederick, having its principal office therein.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
|
|
|
