CHAPTER 602.


AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Wash-


ington County to subscribe for an amount of stock in


turnpike companies in said county.


WHEREAS, it is desirable to improve the road system of

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That to enable said commis-


sioners to raise money to meet and pay any subscriptions

from date of issue, and to bear" interest not exceeding four
