CHAPTER 564.
|
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and twenty-four of
|
|
|
|
|
article eighty-one of the Code of Public General Laws,
|
|
|
|
|
vol. 2, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That section one hundred and twenty-four of
|
Amend-

|
|
|
article eighty-one of the Code of Public General Laws, vol. 2,
|
ment.
|
|
|
|
be and the same is hereby repealed and re enacted with an
|
|
|
|
|
amendment so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
|
124. It shall be the duty of the several clerks and the
|
|
|
|
|
several Registers of Wills in this State to account with and
|
Commis-
sions of
|
|
|
|
pay to the Treasurer on the first Monday of March, June,
|
clerks and
registers.
|
|
|
|
September, and December in each and every year all sums
|
|
|
|
|
of money received by them respectively, for which the clerks
|
|
|
|
|
shall be allowed a commission of five per centum and the
|
|
|
|
|
Registers of Wills shall be allowed a commission of twenty-
|
|
|
|
|
five per centum upon the amount so paid over.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 565.
|
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to divide the fourth or Parson's Creek election
|
|
|
|
|
district of Dorchester County into two election precincts.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That the fourth or Parsons Creek election district
|
Election
|
|
|
|
of Dorchester County be and is hereby divided into two
|
precincts.
|
|
|
|
election precincts, to be called precinct No. 1 or Madison
|
|
|
|
|
precinct and precinct No. 2 or Taylor's Island precinct, all
|
|
|
|
|
that part of said fourth or Parson's Creek district eastward
|
|
|
|
|
of a line, beginning with the head waters of Parson's Creek
|
|
|
|
|
and running with Stuart's canal to its intersection with the
|
|
|
|
|
head waters of Black Water River, and with said river to
|
|
|
|
|
the Big Water Bridge shall constitute the first or Madison
|
|
|
|
|
precinct, and the voting place shall be Madison, and all
|
|
|
|
|
that part of said fourth or Parson's Creek district lying
|
|
|
|
|
to the westward of said line shall constitute the second
|
|
|
|
|
or Taylor's Island precinct and the voting place shall be at
|
|
|
|
|
Taylor's Island.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
|

to do all things and make all necessary arrangements to
