poses as it may deem proper it is hereby authorized and


empowered to issue coupon bonds of said corporation to an


amount not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars, in denomi-


nations of not less than one hundred dollars, nor more than


five hundred dollars, which said bonds are to bear interest


at a rate not exceeding five per centum, per annum, and to
mature and fall due as follows, towit ; one thousand dollars


thereof at the end of five years from the dates of issuing the


sums, and one thousand dollars thereof at the end of each


year thereafter until all are paid ; and the said corporation


shall execute a first mortgage lien on its real estate to a


trustee or trustees, to be appointed by said corporation, for


the holders of said bonds, in order to secure unto them the


payment of principal and interest of said bonds as the same


matures and becomes due and payable ; provided, that before


said bonds issued the same shall be authorized by a resolu-


tion approved by at least two -thirds of the members of


said corporation, present and voting at a called meeting


for that purpose.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

AN ACT to amend article twenty-seven of the Code of


Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments,"


sub-title " Counterfeiting and Forgery," by adding a new


section thereto, to follow section forty-six and to be des-


ignated as section forty-six A, and to be under the title


of "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Counterfeiting


and Forgery."


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That article twenty-seven of the Code of Public


General Laws is amended by the addition of a new section
