CHAPTER 533.


AN ACT to provide for the mode of acquisition of property


by the Baltimore Forwarding and Railroad Company, to


authorize said company to connect its tracks with those


of other railroad companies, and to grant it additional


powers as a railroad company.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the charter of the Baltimore Forwarding

intended to confer upon said company additional rights,


powers and privileges as a railroad corporation.


SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said company


is hereby further invested with all the powers, franchises

the General Incorporation Laws of the State of Maryland,


and said company is hereby authorized to acquire, build


and construct stations, yards, docks, wharves, and other


terminal facilities for railroad use in either Harford or


Baltimore Counties or in Baltimore City, and to locate,


build and construct a railroad or railroads therefrom to and


to connect its tracks with those of any railroad company


now or hereafter having a railroad in either of said counties


or city.


SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the president and


directors of said company, or a majority of them, or their

diversion of the same ; and if they cannot agree, or if the


owner or owners or any of them be an infant, feme covert,


who is not possessed of the property to her sole and separate


use and authorized to contract for the same, or non compos


mentis or for any other cause be legally incapable of con-


tracting, or out of the county in which such property wanted


may lie, when such property may be wanted, application


may be made by the said company to any justice of the


peace of such county, who shall thereupon issue his warrant,


under his hand and seal, to the sheriff of such county,
