CHAPTER 518.


AN ACT to repeal and re-enact section sixty-four of article


eighty-one of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-


land, title "Revenue and Taxes."


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That section sixty-four of article eighty -one of

same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as


follows, viz :


64. Whenever a sale of either real or personal property

CHAPTER 519.


AN ACT authorizing and directing the return of certain


moneys to William W. Evans and William F. Barnes of


Somerset County paid as fines for violating of an act of


Assembly, that had been repealed.


WHEREAS, on the —— day of ——— 1891, Olin S.

Hersey, a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland and


for Somerset County, imposed a fine of fifty dollars upon


Wm. W. Evans and a fine of fifty dollars upon Wm. F.


Barnes both of said county for violating of chapter 44 of


the acts of eighteen hundred and ninety a Public Local Law


of Somerset County which said act was afterwards adjudged


by the Circuit Court for Somerset County to have been


repealed by the Public General Law, of same section,


chapter 602, and


WHEREAS, the said Olin S. Horsey has paid over to
