SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said Orphans' Court for


Caroline County, or the present judges thereof, be and they

are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to assign

stock

and transfer to the Board of County School Commissioners


of Caroline County the fifty-nine shares of capital stock of


the National Mechanics' Bank, Baltimore of the par value


of ten dollars each, standing on the books of said bank in


the name of John Boone, et al., or in the name of the


Orphans' Court for Caroline County or the judges thereof,


and to do all other necessary proper and legal acts to vest


the title to said bank stock in the said " The Board of County


School Commissioners of Caroline County," to be held by


said board for the same uses, purposes and trusts as the same


are now held by said John Boone et al. , or their successors,


or the Orphans' Court for Caroline County, or the judges


thereof, with power to control and change the investment


thereof, as iu its discretion it may deem right and proper,


and that the said National Mechanics' Bank, Baltimore, be


aud hereby is authorized empowered and directed to permit


the assignment and transfer of the said fifty-nine shares of


its capital stock above described and referred to, standing


on the books as assigned to the said board "The Board of


County School Commissioners of Caroline County " and to


give certificates of stock therefor, to the said board.


SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.

Effective.

AN ACT to repeal section thirty -five of article nine of the


Code of Public General Laws of the State of Maryland.

Maryland, That section thirty-five, of article nine, of the

re-enacted with an amendment to read as follows :
