CHAPTER 486.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section

two of chapter 332 of the acts of the General Assembly of

eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled " An act to regu-

late the measurement of peas, beans and other farm

products."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That section two of chapter 332 of the acts of the

and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows :

as other fines are now collected ; and it shall be the duty of

said inspector of weights and any measure of the city of

Baltimore, from time to time to inspect the barrels used for

the measurement of said peas, beans and other farm pro-

ducts, and to see that the provisions of this act are com-

plied with ; and upon the conviction of any person or

corporation under the provisions of this act, one-half of the

fine imposed shall be paid to said inspector of weights, and

any measures of the city of Baltimore.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
