Baltimore, and the Little Sisters of the Poor, in the city of


Baltimore ; provided however tliat nothing herein contained


shall be construed as an assertion that such legislative


sanction was or is essential to the validity of any one or


more of the said gifts, devises or bequests.


SECTION 2. And be it further enacted,' That each one of


the several corporations of tliis State designated in such


manner as is set forth in the first section of this act by the

ment contained as fully and to the same effect as if the


said gift, devise or bequest had been made to it by its true

so designated as is hereinbefore set forth by the said


testator.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act shall


take effect from the date of its passage.
