to make it a customary place of visitation or resort, may at
|
|
|
|
any time, on indictment and conviction, be revoked by the
|
|
|
|
Circuit Court for Allegany County, and the same person
|
|
|
|
shall not again be licensed within two years of the time of
|
|
|
|
such revocation.

|
|
L. Any person doing business under a license issued
|
|
|

under the provisions of this act, shall not permit any other

person who has been refused a license under said provisions,

or whose license has been revoked, to have any interest

whatever in said business ; and if be shown to the Circuit

Court for Allegany County by satisfactory proof that any

person has any interest in any business carried on under a
|
|

license issued under the provisions of this act, said court
|
|
|
|
shall, after giving the party holding such license fifteen
|
|
|
|
days' written notice, revoke the same.

|
|
M. Any person or persons holding a license issued under
|
|
|

the provisions of this act, may assign the unexpired term

thereof to another, provided that said assignee shall comply
|
|
|
|
with all the requirements and provisions of this act in the
|
|
|
|
same manner as is hereby required of an original applicant

for a license under this act, and, upon such transfer, the
|
|
|
|
license so transferred shall have the consent of the clerk of
|
|
|
|
the Circuit Court for Allegany County endorsed on said
|
|
|
|
license, and the assignee shall in every respect be subject
to all the requirements, provisions and penalties of this act,
|
|
|
|
and also all the privileges and benefits hereby conferred.

|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
|
|
|
Repealed.
|
inconsistent with the provisions of this act (so far as the
|
|
|
|
same are so inconsistent), are hereby repealed.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
|
|
Effective.
|
from the date of its passage ; provided, however, that all
|
|
|
|
licenses in force at the time of the adoption of this act shall
|
|
|
|
continue in force until the first day of May eighteen hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and ninety-two, and provided, further that nothing
|
|
|
|
contained in this act shall apply to cases pending nor to the
|
|
|
|
violations of the law which shall have occurred prior to the
|
|
|
|
adoption of this act, but all such cases and violations shall
|
|
|
|
be prosecuted as if this act had not been passed and adopted.
