CHAPTER 433.


AN ACT to repeal sections sixty-seven to eighty -nine both


inclusive of article fifty-six of the Code of Public General


Laws, title "License," under the respective sub-titles


"Ordinary Keeper," "Oyster and Eating Houses," and


"Penalties," so far as the same apply to the City of


Cumberland and to regulate the sale of spirituous and


fermented liquors in said city of Cumberland and to add


further new sections to article one of the Code of Public


Local Laws, title " Allegany County, "under the sub-title


"Intoxicating Liquors," said sections to follow imme-


diately after section 175 and to be designated as section


175 A, 175 B, 175 C, 175 D, 175 E, 175 F, 175 G, 175 H,


175 I, 175 J, 175 K, 175 L and 175 M.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That section sixty-seven to eighty -nine both

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That fourteen new sec-


tions be and the same are hereby added to article one of the

one hundred and seventy-five K, one hundred and seventy-


five L, and one hundred and seventy-five M, to read as to


said respective sections as follows :


SEC. 175 A. Every person applying for a license to keep


an oyster house, cook shop, victualling house, tavern, lager
