277 A. And be it further enacted, That in order to pro-
|
|

cure the money or moneys necessary to adopt such system of
|
|
|

drainage and improvement of the public road as provided
|

bonds.

for in the foregoing section, the board of county commis-
|
|
|
|
sioners are hereby authorized and empowered to issue from
|
|
|
|
time to time and put upon the market bonds to be denomi-
|
|
|
|
nated Dorchester County road bonds for an amount not
|
|
|
|
exceeding fifty thousand dollars in the aggregate, which
|
|
|
|
bonds shall be issued in amounts of not less than one hun-
|
|
|
|
dred dollars for each bond, payable in fifty years from the
|
|
|
|
date thereof and bearing interest at the rate of four per
|
|
|
|
cent, per annum the interest to be provided for by levy on
|
|
|
|
the assessable property of the county each year after the
|
|
|
|
same or any part thereof have been issued and disposed of
|
|
|
|
said bonds shall not be subject to taxation for State, county
|
|
|
|
and municipal purposes and after twenty years from the
|
|
|
|
date of said bonds the said board of county commissioners
|
|
|
|
shall make provision by levy annually for such amount as
|
|
|
|
may be necessary to meet and pay the principal of said
|
|
|
|
bonds at their maturity.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|

Maryland, title "Wicomico County, sub-title "Fences."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
Repeal.
|
Maryland, That sections forty-one to forty-seven inclusive
|
|
|
|
of article twenty -three of the Public Local Laws of Mary-
|
|
|
|
land, title " Wicomico County, "sub -title " Fences," be and
|
|
|
|
the same are hereby repealed.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
