twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two,


thirty-three, thirty-four, thirty-five, and thirty-six of

chapter one hundred and thirty -two of the acts passed at


the January, eighteen hundred and ninety, session of the


General Assembly of Maryland, and to re-enact the same


with amendments, so as to read as follows :


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That sections three, four, five, six, seven, eight,

ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen,


eighteen, nineteeu, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three,


twenty-four, twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-


nine, thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two, thirty-three, thirty-


four, thirty -five, and thirty -six of chapter one hundred and


thirty-two of the acts passed at the January, eighteen


hundred and ninety, session of the General Assembly of


Maryland, be and the same are hereby repealed and


re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows :


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the male citizens of the

age of twenty-one years and upwards, who have resided


within the corporate limits of Lonaconing six mouths next


preceding the election, and who shall have been registered


as hereinafter prescribed, shall on the first Tuesday of ——


in each and every year, at such place as the mayor and


councilmen may designate, within the corporate limits of


said town, elect one person residing within said town


mayor of the town of Lonaconing.


SEC. 1. And be it enaeted, That the persons qualified as


required by the preceding section, shall annually elect three
