SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That no person having a

license under the provisions of this act shall sell or give

away any spirituous or fermented liquors on the Lord's Day,

commonly called Sunday, except that if the licensee be a

hotel or ordinary keeper, he may supply such liquors to be

drunk in their rooms or with their meals, to bona fide guests
|
|
|
|
or upon any day upon which elections are now, or may here-
|
|
|
|
after be, by law required to be held ; nor shall he sell or
|
|
|
|
give any spirituous or fermented liquors to any minor, or to
|
|
|
|
any other person for the purpose of being drunk by a minor ;
|
|
|
|
nor shall he knowingly sell or give any spirituous or fer-
|
|
|
|
mented liquors to any drunkard, or to any person at the
|
|
|
|
time visibly affected by intoxicating drink ; nor shall he
|
|
|
|
sell or give any spirituous or fermented liquors to any per-
|
|
|
|
son whose parent, guardian, husband or wife, or other rela-
|
|
|
|
tive on whom the support of the family may depend, shall
|
|
|
|
have given such license, a notice in writing, under oath,
|
|
|
|
that such person is of intemperate habits ; nor shall he sell
|
|
|
|
or give any spirituous or fermented liquors at his place of
|
|
|
|
business between the hours of twelve o'clock, midnight and
|
|
|
|
four o'clock a. m. at any time.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That no person having a
|
|
|
|
license to sell spirituous or fermented liquors in quantities
|

less than a quart, at any place, shall place or maintain, or

permit to be placed or maintained, any screen, blind, cur-

tain, partition, or any obstruction, that will interfere with

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That every person receiving

a license under this act to sell spirituous or fermented

same so that it shall at all times be conspicuous and easily

read, in his chief place of making sales and no license issued

under this act shall authorize sales by any person who shall

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That if any person shall here-

after be convicted of selling spirituous or fermented liquors
